  1. Good morning Ellen!
Down syndrome Blogs was featured on the IDSC site - so there was a big surge in blogs. I think we are now up to almost a couple of hundred - there are a LOT!
I"m going to be running a "blogger in the spotlight" series there. Something to look forward to - new people to meet, fresh posts to read from the site itself.
    Thanks for your support!

  2. It was a big week for my 11 year old son with aspergers: his first experience of an exam...

  3. When you are a mom of a super sensory needy child, you need super mom attire; I give you the jumpsuit, which I finished sewing this week, I think I'm making this my uniform.

  4. This week I am writing about a topic close to my heart; the adoption of children with developmental disabilities, and spotlighting 4 children who are waiting for their families to find them.

  5. 0ne of her writing prompts for yeterday was write a letter to a celebrity. I realize that my letter makes me sound like a total prude, but it came from my heart.

  6. I'm so happy to share and get connected to all these bloggers! Thanks!

  7. It's been a surreal week, with the TV show. I appreciate that you do this every week! Thanks!

  8. Opus! I forgot the blog title on my link, Happy Birthday, here's your genetic diagnosis.

  13. The Lemonade Stand:
"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade". When you are a parent of a child with special needs, sometimes you feel like you have to deal with a whole grove full of lemon. You have a choice : whether or not to let these "lemons" get the best of you.
Remember it's a "lemon" you have been handed, not a moldy piece of cheese.

Thanks for sharing!
