Stop the world, I want to get off
I'm having one of those days. It was such a whirlwind that I feel like I've barely had time to connect with myself. Or Dave. Or the kids, because I got home late and they were sleeping already. Worse, I gave myself a killer headache because I skipped coffee this morning. Because I had one of those mornings, too. I am calling it a night and crashing.
Growl.

Oh c'mon! Put your big girl panties back on!!!!!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteTotally know what you are saying! But I am generally always home with them all! EEEEEKKKKKKKK!
Amen! Hope today is better for you! See if you can find an hour on Thursday or Friday, just for yourself, and do something fun or relaxing. Or just do nothing. I live for my hour on Thursday PM!
ReplyDeleteHope today brings a better day.
ReplyDeleteAlso...did you notice that Kasia's blog (Lessons Learned From a Bee) is gone? I was just going to email her yesterday to ask if everything is okay but I didn't. I hope everything is okay.
Sorry to hear you had a bad day, but at least it did force you to go to sleep at a decent hour!! Hope today is a better day and if you need a perk, just spend a few minutes this morning with your wonderful kids!!!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, that's an all too familiar feeling! I hope you went ahead and crashed, Ellen! Make sure to get yourself a big, unhealthy latte this morning. I hope today goes better for you.
ReplyDeleteI too know the feeling. If you can get the world to stop, can I get off with you?
ReplyDeleteI hope today is better...
Been there so many times I can't count! Hope tomorrow is better!
ReplyDeleteYep I understand! By the way I saw you on twitter groups the other day, and added you as a friend.
ReplyDeleteI hate those kind of days. I call them my "I DON'T WANNA PLAY THIS GAME ANYMORE!" days. Hope today was a better day.
ReplyDeleteJulia: thanks for the concern but I'm still here! I needed to change the address of my blog...long story. So the new and slightly tweaked address is:
www.bumbleblog-kc.blogspot.com
You know I hear you!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you've get a good double coffee shot today and feel all the better for it.
Look out for the fab kids book 'Growl' too. One of my boys' fave (I blogged about it ages ago).
xo
Thanks, everyone. I really did feel better today. And, Kate, I promise that there will be far more fascinating posts in the future. It won't be too hard after this one!!!! And Sarah: I am back to wearing my big-girl panties today. That totally made me smile. And Debbie: I am planning for a several-hours break this weekend. And Kara: Phew, glad you are still with us! I will change the link right now.
ReplyDeleteI don't like those days. I especially don't like it when I get too many of them in a row.
ReplyDeleteCoffee is your friend.
If I hear about one more percentage, slope, or ratio, I will scream.
