The Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-up: Whatcha got?

It's the Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-up. There have been many great posts out there in honor of Spread the Word to End the Word Day, so feel free to share as many of those as you'd like.

Note: A few people have had trouble posting using Internet Explorer. Try a different browser!

What to do

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post. Where it says "Your name" put the name of the blog followed by the title of the post (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).

Like this: Love That Max: Can I Please Have Two Birthdays A Year? Or Twenty?

Where it says "Your URL" put the direct link to the post.

Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some great posts.

Happy linking!

  1. I hope it's ok I posted 2 of my blog entries from this week. First I shared a few thoughts about the R word and the second post talks about my daughter using a stander and the benefits of that equipment. Have a wonderful weekend!

  9. Thanks, Ellen. Dexter's at #46 this week. He's had his casts cut off! First time we've seen him with skinny 'cp legs', which was a bit sad. He's already back, working on his muscles. Happy weekend :)

  12. Thank you so much for this opportunity to share my life. I posted #51 and #52 because it was such a crazy week for us. A great day on Monday. A doctor appointment on Wednesday. The results of a CT scan on Thursday. And a chat with my hubby that put it all into perspective. I wonder...how many of your readers have weeks like this...with so many up and downs and emotions? How do you handle it? Who helps get you through it? Please leave a comment on my posts to share your survival tips.

    1. I've found that other special needs parents are my lifeline on the crazy weeks. I'm so grateful for the parents I've met through my son's preschool. Sorry to hear that you've had such a crazy week - it sounds rough! Going to check out your posts now.

  13. Thanks for doing this! I accidentally posted the first blog post with the title "Special Olympics" but it's actually about Spread the Word to End the Word day. Sorry about that!

I love reading your posts... you have great perspective and it's all relevant to those of us who live with a special needs person. :)

  15. I love discovering new blogs at these link-ups! I shared an older post of mine at #62 about being in the endless testing "waiting place" which has been on my mind a lot lately as my daughter turns 6, and we still have no answers.
