  1. Thanks Ellen! This week, Dexter's post is for, and about, his sister. While he had therapy most days last month, she was left to play in the park... whether it was sunny, windy or rainy. Sometimes, that's what the siblings of special needs kids do. Happy weekend.

  4. Thanks for the opportunity of sharing a blog Ellen. This week I have shared what it was like for us flying (14 hours) with our son who has Cerebral Palsy and finds flying very difficult. I've included photos of the airline bathroom and the solution we came up with for making him more comfortable on the airline seat. I hope it helps others. Julie

  7. #47 - I spent a semester interning at Opongada Centre for Children with Disabilities in Windhoek, Namibia. My latest post (linked above) reflects on some of the differences in the ways Namibian culture thinks about and provides for people with disabilities. Plus, there are some photos of cute kids!

  9. I am grateful for this opportunity as I have just begun writing my blog. It is about the life journey and lessons learned by my 26-year-old daughter who has multiple disabilities, and me, recently diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. We have been a Team of Two for the past 15-years. I hope you will read a post or two; all comments and suggestions are welcome!
