Music therapy and a song for Max: a video you won't find on MTV
Max's music therapist, Joanne (who continues to look and sound like a Disney princess) surprised me with this video of a song she'd made up for Max (who continues to be obsessed with his bff Caleb and purple).
I do believe Max has a future as as a backup singer. And as a spokesperson for the color purple.

That's got to be one of the cutest things I've ever seen! Joanne is awesome - and Max does a great job as backup! :)
ReplyDeletePurple Max rocks!! He really steals the show :) You cann't tell me he didn't enjoy that time with Joanne! Please both their hearts and Caleb's too!
ReplyDeleteYou need to get Max a custom song from Songs of Love; it is one of Nichole's most prized possessions, even at 17. :-)
ReplyDeleteomg...so adorable!
ReplyDeletedude, I didn't know you were Jewish! Me too! I love Max's hair, I don't know why but he reminds me of one of the Beatles.
ReplyDeleteMax takes the show!:-)
ReplyDeleteOh WOW! How brilliant!
ReplyDeleteIt was Mikey's birthday on Monday. He amazed us by singing Happy Birthday! In his way, but as far as I'm concerned it was the most perfect, wonderful thing I've ever heard!
Xxx
What a debut, Max! Love it!!!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! Max sounds & looks great, all decked out in the purple. :) I wish you could find a song like that on MTV. These days you're more likely to see drunk, overly spray-tanned people from Jersey.
ReplyDeleteJoanne does look like a Disney princess, since you brought it up.
ReplyDeleteSince Max is starting to recognize words, especially his name, you might want to think about captioning the video for him. It's really easy to caption videos these days -- you can google caption youtube videos or go to http://www.youtube.com/t/captions_about to get instructions.
ReplyDeleteLove to hear him using his voice. He even kept up with her for a short period of time there!
ReplyDeleteI think he should also get credits from Lego for holding that up and advertising for them.
Love it! Max has the best smile I have ever seen! What a cutie!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree, Purple Max rocks. And yes, Janet, Lego spokesperson could work out nicely for him too, although I don't know how they would feel about him only representing purple pieces.
ReplyDeletePaula: EXCELLENT idea about adding captions. I will tell the music therapist too!
Adorable! My 10 yos has autism and we've not tried music therapy, but over the years, he started listening to music (provided it's HIS kind of music, lol) and I definitely see it relax him.
ReplyDeletei love this so much! i will be humming this all week and smiling. thanks for sharing xxx
ReplyDeleteI've been singing Purple Max now for the last hour. :)
ReplyDeleteHe looks and sounds so great! You can tell he adores his song :)
ReplyDeleteWe've been doing music therapy for a few months now. So far, it is mostly my son running around trying to play every instrument except for the one we're working with at the time. I would be thrilled for him to be this engaged!
I think the princess she looks most like is Rapunzel! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat video is priceless - such a cute song. You have a beautiful boy!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever seen Max in action - I LOVE this! And I love your music therapist too!
ReplyDeleteI watched this video about 10 million TIMES it's SO catchy! I have never seen him that verbal or having that much fun!:)
ReplyDeleteWhat a catchy tune and the back up singer is AMAZING! Bravo!
