  1. Thanks for hosting, Ellen. Have a great weekend!

  2. #7 is mine. It doesn't really pertain to special needs, but it was too important not to share. It's a story I think we all need.

    I'm at #9 too.

  3. I'm at #17-20

    17. I brought home my desk that I worked on with the help of my wonderful aid and interpreter (Mrs.Silva) and a friend of mines aid/bodyguard (Mr.McCarthy)

    18. A "queer" story involving the correct use of pronouns, coming out and the importance of visibility and acceptance for all identities.

    19. A continuation of Ali's backstory and the first meeting of the man who saved their life and gives an explanation of their family history. The dorkiness from past stories continues :)

    20. M's hospital blogging from Monday at MEEI audiology

  4. I went to my Senior Prom last night and has an absolute blast with my best friends! At our table was a guy with Down Syndrome I've known since 4th grade and a girl from his class. They were so cute together and totally rocked the dance floor! This one guy was quite mean towards them but got kicked out due to breaking the code of conduct.

    1. That's great!! I'm glad you and your friends had fun!! It's good he got kicked out.

    2. Glad the Code of Conduct is strong, Kathryn.

And it's the Student Council who makes it that way.

Thanks for sharing!
