Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up: share!
It's another weekend link-up for bloggers with kids who have special needs. Ready for a good time?
The idea
Share a favorite post of the week.
What to do
Where it says "Your name" put the name of your blog followed by the title of your post (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).
Like this: Love That Max: I Can Screech Louder Than My Sister Can!
Where it says "Your URL" put the direct link to the post.
Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some great posts.
Happy linking!

I'm linking up a post about our daughter Tennyson. We just found out this week she will have bilateral adductor release and bilateral hamstring lengthening surgery. I'm looking for other parents who have been through this with their child. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI am sharing a link of a blog my husband wrote for our anniversary. He continues to inspire not only me but others with his loving and thoughtful words regarding our family including our daughter, Olivia, who has special needs. Thanks for sharing our link!
ReplyDeleteLove that this is my weekend reading!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity to share.
ReplyDeleteI posted about a recent exchange I had with my older daughter about her little sister's health issues. I worry so much about the impact of my medically fragile child on my sibling. As this exchange proved, sometimes I worry too much.
ReplyDeleteI love that I have found your website and can continue to read other great blogs. I look forward to reading all the great things from other parents. My post this week is slightly different than normal, it focuses on vacation and how to manage it with a special needs child.
ReplyDeleteI shared a post I recently wrote which discusses the top 10 most frequently asked questions I get in my daily life.
ReplyDeleteI'm 26, with spastic diplegia and do not let it limit me at all. I'm so happy that people are at least curious, but the fact that such basic questions are such frequent topics of discussion, shows me just how far we have to go in terms of CP Awareness.
I'm posting about my son's latest physical therapy assessment. We're at the point where progress is slow going, but we're optimistic that big changes are on the horizon! As always, thanks for allowing us a space to share our posts :)
ReplyDeleteI was looking for a post on Love That Max called 'I Can Screech Louder Than My Sister Can!' as I suspect that I would be able to relate to it! In the meantime my post is about how I'm having to make yet more changes as my kids with special needs get older...
ReplyDeleteThanks for giving me the chance to show off my little girls latest achievement!!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and your writing, Love Max and Sabrina and of course I love that Max loves purple. Thanks for the link up, and as always your words of wisdom. I linked to my latest post which was recently on C.P. Family Network "The Power OF A Little Green Ribbon" A must read if you have a kid with C.P> .
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the linky. My grandson was misdiagnosed - not ADHD or Autistic but has Sensory Processing Disorder - so wrote post with lots of resources.
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful idea. I've met some great bloggers. Thank you! This post is about the "birthday blues" I get every year when my son's birthday is approaching. I keep thinking that this might be the last year I have it but it always comes back.
ReplyDeleteOCtober is starting on Monday! That means it'll be a Month with Moxie: Down syndrome Awareness Champions will be celebrating with us by giving away lots of fun and useful celebratory items every Monday throughout the month.
ReplyDeleteI linked a post by a guest blogger about how she thanked the teachers who loved her son with special needs and taught him well. It could make you a bit teary-eyed, so consider that your tissue warning!
ReplyDeleteI love that you do this - allow us to share! My linked post is about an a-ha moment I had when I realized my son had never been rollerskating before, and what happened when we decided to fix that!
ReplyDeleteI am taking a week off from the headlines and policy issues to talk about evil
ReplyDeleteLinking up for the first time from (not so sunny) Blighty! Avid reader of your blog!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if you've seen these yet, but I thought a lot of your readers would love them. Halloween costumes that incorporate wheelchairs!

Emma just received her first AAC device last week. I linked up a post in case others are venturing into the scary world of AAC.
ReplyDeleteThe link on #14 is mistyped. Needs another period after "www".
ReplyDeleteThe link I posted titled "Our Ambassador" is about Lindsay, a second year student at Shepherds College, and her thoughts about having Down syndrome and representing people with Down syndrome at a local Buddy Walk. I love this blog because it's her thoughts and her words. Lindsay's heart is evident in both.
