Wordless Wednesday: A trip to the railway museum

  1. My kids love trains, the real ones and the toy ones. Their uncle had as a child (still has, but he doesn't do much with it now) a big old model railroad that's set up on a pingpong table in one of the outbuildings behind my folks' house. When he comes to visit they take the tarp off it, clean it up and fire it up. Good for hours of imaginative play!

  3. Welcome to my blog! Make yourself at home.

Felicia, that is so cool that the kids have that model railroad to play with. We are completely hopeless about setting up those train sets. Once (and surely you will laugh at me), I paid a handyman to put together a big Thomas train set, only he showed up at the house a little sloshed and it took him most of the afternoon, and then he told me he liked my "tools," but that's another story.

The place, for anyone interested, is the Whippany Railway Museum, http://whippanyrailwaymuseum.net
