A kid who likes chocolate ice-cream entirely too much

Last year at this time, Max wasn't able to articulate "no" or "yes."

Chocolate ice-cream is clearly an amazing motivational tool.

  2. Honey, there's no such thing as "too much" when it comes to liking chocolate ice cream!! Or chocolate ANYTHING, as far as I'm concerned!

That child is just too cute!

  3. That was the cutest thing ever! I love how excited he got with his "yes."

  4. Yeah, Max! This is so great. And yes, ice cream and other treats are indeed a great motivator. One mom from a support group taught her son to crawl by dangling fries in front of him. I started to get Daniel to use his left hand by letting him use it to eat lollipops. I think we need to devise a new kind of therapy - junk food therapy?!

  8. Ellen,
Max reminds me of Faith sooooo much. They both have that look on their faces and alot of the same mannerisms. I let Faith watch the video and she kept signing "more", over and over again! I wish we could meet you guys one day. Max is the first child I have seen who really reminds me of Faith. I LOVE the video. You can never have too much ice cream!

  12. I think Max gets the motivated-by-food gene from me. It is not nearly so cute on me.
