When I was young I was miss diagnosed as CP it turned out that I was double jointed and couldn't coordinate how to get my muscles to walk together to stand and walk. I am told I was a very floppy baby & didn't walk until I was almost 2. It took physical therapy and exercises with my mother to be able to get up & go. I've always been a hard worker & I try to instill that attitude in my student who are diagnosed with Autism. I love my job- career too!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02115238287226332635noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-15645996035685636272013-11-07T22:09:31.621-05:002013-11-07T22:09:31.621-05:00Thank YOU :)Thank YOU :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11291885443082529538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-48565888102939099332013-11-07T20:57:31.945-05:002013-11-07T20:57:31.945-05:00Let me know when you open your restaurant! I know exactly what you mean when you say that your crutches are a gift because I feel the same way about my CP. I loved this glimpse into your world, and I really appreciate your honesty...I know that it will probably be more difficult for me to get a job, but your words are encouraging because you were so successful. Thank you to both Ellen and Laura for sharing this post...it made my day!
