It was when he first started speech therapy and we were trying to get him to engage with us at table time for two minutes (I'm happy to report he's now up to longer stretches). The therapist actually suggested I take a photo or video because I'd want to remember. I, too, felt really mean but I'm glad I have it because I will never again see - in real life - what my little boy looked like more than a year ago when struggling to pay attention to us. Also? The boo-boo face of Max's is adorable. Sorry (because it's heartbreaking too) - he is too precious. That face!!! She was acting out bc she had gotten in trouble and she would NOT stop having a fit! So I got out the phone and made a big deal of shooting her and sure enough it took about 10 seconds b4 she was laughing her head off! Yeah and she still laughs when I show her that picture! I usually tell them if they are throwing a tantrum that I'm just gonna get my camera and take a picture. Usually looking at a picture of them pitching a fit sends them into a fit of giggles, which is far more enjoyable. I should post a blog sharing all the pictures. It's pitiful! There is a blog out there somewhere I've come across a few times written by a dad who similarly posts pictures of his kid throwing a for and the reason for his crying. It's usually amusing.
