My 13-year old son is so much like Max, and it's great to get to look at these stages through someone else's eyes. Thank you for sharing.Heathernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-38908858838770772762014-08-05T08:59:20.659-04:002014-08-05T08:59:20.659-04:00Better late than neverBetter late than neverNishahttp://nisha360.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-73144995727277349602014-08-05T05:26:59.726-04:002014-08-05T05:26:59.726-04:00This is such a wonderful post. I am so pleased you are enjoying these days now and your post gives me hope we can enjoy these days at some point too. Also, Max is leading an awesome movement - asking adults what they want to be when they grow up. Something we should all think about more often, I think!!
Stumbled this, by the way :)Kristi Campbellhttp://www.findingninee.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-85645078065147734382014-08-04T14:36:21.116-04:002014-08-04T14:36:21.116-04:00I want to open a restaraunt called D-Constructed. ...I want to open a restaraunt called D-Constructed. As the name states, the specialty is deconstructed food. A salad will have all the toppings in a ring around the greens and the dressing on the side. A scone will come with a ganache for drizzling or dipping. Our signature appetizer will be ramen fries. The ramen seasoning will be on the side as usual.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10616282351291824392noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-33232405886082499432014-08-04T13:25:09.842-04:002014-08-04T13:25:09.842-04:00That is wonderful! Indeed, we can always ask (and answer) that question anew. I couldn't help notice that you want to run a coffee bar.... With his frame he tends to wander off now and he has just enough ability to make himself understood to us, if not to other adults.
I waited 5 years to be called Daddy so patience I know is key when raising a disabled child.
Great blog.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-55593567086234258602014-08-04T09:34:06.991-04:002014-08-04T09:34:06.991-04:00I love this. I too feel like I missed out on some of the joys of toddlerhood with my autistic daughter, but I've learned that some things just happen later with her. I'm really looking forward to when she wants to go to a book store or the library, pick out books, and sit and read with me. I think I'll probably cry the day it does finally happen. It will be worth the wait I'm sure.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
