It was of course, really sweet, but hard at times when I couldn't leave the room for even a few seconds. But, I only realized in hindsight how fleeting this time was as he quickly outgrew it. I'm now savoring son #2's (NT) "daddy phase" as I am a wiser parent who knows it is only temporary. :-) Thanks for the smile today.ecodrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02318230476395137108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-15105944749794611212016-06-30T02:10:17.151-04:002016-06-30T02:10:17.151-04:00Of course.

I would not *take away* his *extra chromosome* and make him "normal".... *Even if I could*!! He and I are *Kindred Spirits*!! How? We were both born with *Life-threatening birth defects*!! He and I are *Kindred Spirits*!! How? We are both *hard to kill*!! He and I are *Kindred Spirits*!! How? We both have *surgically-created scars* on our bodies!! He and I are *Kindred Spirits*!! How? We're both *different*.... We each have *special needs*.... We're both *learning disabled* in our own *Beautifully Unique* ways!! He and I are *Kindred Spirits*!! Why? Because we share *so many things* in common!! ;)<br />"Stay hard, stay hungry, stay alive", Raelyn<br />PS. Your daughter, Sophie, sounds *cute*!! In the *best way possible*, of course!! But something that I am learning.... Gradually, slowly, over time? *Everybody is different*!! Whether you are *gifted*, *learning disabled*.... Or have a *high IQ* and things come easily? *Everybody is different*!! And that's *absolutely* alright!! ;-D<br />*You*, my Friend, are *Beautifully Unique*!! {That is *my* phrase!! Which I coined!!} God has *plans* for your Life, to give you *a hope and a future*!! {Jeremiah 29:11; The Bible}. *You*, my Friend, are *fearfully and wonderfully made*!! {Psalm 139:14; The Bible}. Confession. It feels like I'm preaching to *myself* here--and not just *you*--for I *struggle mightily* with these *truths*.... ;)<br />Sorry, long comment!! I so cannot do Twitter!! It's great to be able to do things easily, but the anxiety and overthinking that comes with a higher IQ is NOT WORTH IT. Also mind that average intelligence overall does not necessarily denote average distribution of intelligences. Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10616282351291824392noreply@blogger.com
