It was found in studies to be more effective then the mask method and changing depths was also shown to increase effectiveness. We did get some head growth when I went and increased cognition. For the record, not all hyperbaric treatment centers are created equal nor do they produce the same results. This is the reason behind the varied testimonials.Seahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11896803127272729393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-44280013233464888322015-01-09T18:12:57.519-05:002015-01-09T18:12:57.519-05:00Thanks for this post! It's hard to tell how much it helped, but it certainly didn't hurt. We have a soft chamber at home and don't use it nearly as much as we'd like to, but it's hard to keep up with school and therapies for our 7 year old first grader :) I can't believe how stale my blog has gotten - my last HBOT post is from 2010. Here's what I pulled together back when I researched hyperbaric oxygen therapy when Elijah was younger. Therapies for Cerebral Palsy: Hyperbarics (HBOT)Andyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03341735884112398181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-38940623248592621022015-01-08T15:02:11.123-05:002015-01-08T15:02:11.123-05:00It's more than pure oxygen - it's pressuri...It's more than pure oxygen - it's pressurised too. That was nothing more than a fun fact. Mum is a hyperbaric nurse. The idea of lying in a glass chamber with pure oxygen sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie. It appears to have little risk, so I say to try it, but not advertise it as the panacea for all perceived medical problems.Annanoreply@blogger.com
