That makes my blood boil. She had a 'mild intellectual disability' -- she had a boyfriend. To say she couldn't make an informed decision about having a transplant -- about living rather than dying -- is outrageous.<br /><br />We don't deny an infant a transplant because he/she can't make an informed decision. <br /><br />I don't believe Misty couldn't make an informed decision. But if she couldn't, the family that loved her could have.
