  1. Thanks, Ellen. Dexter's at #4, this week. After 3 years, we no longer see 'wheelchair' as a dirty word. Happy weekend!

  2. In "The (briefly) open window" (#6) I talk about getting a surprise glimpse into a skill that I wasn't aware my daughter had, and how complicated kids often have knowledge that we aren't aware of.

  4. Hi Ellen, thanks again for hosting. I am glad that you do this for 2 reasons: 1) I get to share my posts and 2) Every week I read more about your journey with Max! As bloggers sometimes it is hard to read as many other blogs as you like, this is my Friday reminder! All the best!

  5. Thankyou Ellen. Long time reader, first time linker here. My son has CP and is nearly 24. We live in Australia, so there are differences in our lives, but the similarities far outweigh those. Mimi xxx

  8. Thanks, Ellen! Mine is #52 on DWTS, which stars a new season tomorrow, once again with a contestant using prosthetics. I've had this post in my head for a year, since Amy Purdy was on the show, and I'm glad to have it finally out in the world.

  9. I don't know what the weather is like in the rest of the country, but here in North Dakota we have been rejoicing over the 70 degree temps - which beats the below freezing temps we usually have this time of the year!
