I often wonder how my 5-year-old is affected by all the attention her baby sister gets - therapies, Dr. appointments, special diet. I remind myself that this is what she knows. She is not familiar with having a baby sister without special needs. We just started HGH treatment and every night as part of the routine, my older daughter gathers stickers to give her sister as a reward for the shot. Her help has made the process so much easier for all of us.Melissahttp://catchupdaphne.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-37596350191567103082011-10-02T22:54:40.961-04:002011-10-02T22:54:40.961-04:00She will be there for him.

I hear this is normal, and I would like to think that if push came to shove the eldest would come to the youngers rescue. But mostly I wonder...... I think that as they get older it will become easier. Or else get harder, LOL.Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01204122616646499142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-16500270176803535432011-10-02T15:27:16.833-04:002011-10-02T15:27:16.833-04:00It is too cute that they kiss Ashley at school! AS a matter of fact I think her words were, "He's ugly." LOL.

Fast forward through the years and he is her baby. She wants to take care of him all the time.

By the way, Maya (Marfmom) mentioned you are also in the NYC surround area? I'm in Westchester. She said you might be interested in a post I wrote about an orthotist I absolutely love. I don't know if Max needs any kind of orthotics but if he does and you are interested in trying a new provider then check out my post: http://specialmomspace.com/new-york-based-orthotist-creates-orthotics-aroundMichelle@Special Mom Spacehttp://special-mom-space.comnoreply@blogger.com
