As an autistic person, I see it as just a label for some of my quirks. My autism doesn't just control me sometimes - it *is* me. The thought of cutting my personality into pieces that are "me" and "not me" reminds me of a relative of mine with dissociative identity disorder. It wasn't healthy when she split herself into pieces.Ettinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12391427859178500937noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-401303964563152307.post-83733321648901422682016-04-18T16:31:04.221-04:002016-04-18T16:31:04.221-04:00Monk as in the detective show with the main charac...Monk as in the detective show with the main character with OCD??! We have a few friends who have children with autism and it's been amazing to see how much their children thrive once they get the hang of a great routine for their children post diagnosis. That's probably one of my favorite tips!

Paige
http://thehappyflammily.comPaige Flammhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16069836120389924817noreply@blogger.com
