What to do if you're new here

This is a place to share a recent favorite post you've written, or read. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post. Where it says "Your name" put the name of the blog followed by the title of the post you want to share (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).

Like this: So, what do you say when someone uses the word "retard"?

Where it says "Your URL" put the direct link to the post.

Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some great posts.

Happy linking!

  2. Thanks, Ellen. Dexter's at #6, this week. He just had a little boy offer him some cake... and wait for a response. So happy.

  3. In post #7, I do a recap of my posts from February. Families will find my post "How to successfully 'hire' sibling babysitters" to be particularly helpful!

  5. #16 I'm Julia's Mom - This week I use math to show how you should not say the R-word and admittedly go off just a bit on people who continue to use it. Sorry for the profanity and name-calling. Thanks Ellen!!! Spread the word to end the word!!!

  6. I'm #18 and hope I did everything ok. I'm really trying to blog more to share my experiences of mom raising a child with autism and severe anxiety.

  9. One more from me. I had a beautiful guest blog written for our website by a mother who started a foundation after the loss of her daughter and now builds inclusive playgrounds in her memory. They are fantastic playgrounds and ensure access for all. Thanks again. Julie

  10. Hi Ellen, thanks for sharing again with your readers. I have shared a post I did about my son doing ice skating in his wheelchair with a carer. She suggested the activity and they had a fantastic time and it turned out more inclusive than I would have expected with high fives all around at limbo time. Loved it. Julie
