Special Needs Blogger Weekend Link-Up: Go to it!

It's another weekend link-up for bloggers with kids who have special needs, and I've asked Michelle Obama, Adam Levine and Prince William to join in! OK, I didn't actually, but we'll still have a good time.

The idea

Share a favorite post of the week.

What to do

Where it says "Your name" put the name of your blog followed by the title of your post (or just the name of the post, if there's no room—you get 80 characters).

Like this: I Have The Best-est Mom In The Whole Wide World

Where it says "Your URL" put the direct link to the post.

Click "Enter." Leave a comment if you want to say more. Go check out some great posts.

Happy linking!

  4. I love these link-ups too! I have to remember to come back on the weekend to read what people have linked. When my daughter Jessie writes (as I have convinced her to do every Friday), I make sure I link to her piece. One question tho, does Max do house calls!?

  5. Thanks again Ellen for hosting this. Some weeks I don't feel like writing but your weekly link up is a motivator to sit and type, even if my post is mostly a brain dump this week. I'm anxious to see if you've heard of Glennon's Helping Hands I describe in my post. Have a great weekend!!!

  8. Every week I look forward to this and reading and finding new blogs. Thanks so much. This week's post is about whether or not two special needs (young adults) should marry. Hope you enjoy. Please feel free to check out my daughter and her boyfriend's love story on the blog too, under Two Years Or Six Months Or Two years. In the meantime, happy reading to us all!

  9. I'm into these link-ups not just for seeing other bloggers good stuff, but also because it keeps me in check! I try to post once a week and this is really keeping me to it! Thanks for the deadline, Ellen!

  11. Hmmm. Just found that my blog (misspelt) has been linked. Don't mind at all that people are coming to visit, but I thought the idea of a linky is that you link your own posts?

Could whoever joined my post about Mog and her blended diet (http://behindthechild.blogspot.com is the main site; on my phone so can't link to actual page) let me know who you are please?

    1. Hey, Tia. Usually, people do post their own links but not always, I've seen my own posts linked by other people on other blog link-ups. It means that someone really liked your post, a Good Thing!

    2. Fair enough then!

The linking has found me your blog anyway, which is definitely no bad thing.

  14. My link today was my Top 13 Books for Disability Studies, Rights Movement, Pride and Parenting - and on my facebook page, there were some excellent additions by some Great People from the Disability Rights Movement itself - as well as adds by authors of some of my favorite books. I'm at www.facebook.com/withalittlemoxie and also just Meriah Nichols. Worth looking at.

And thanks as always, Ellen! This is every kind of awesome.

  16. Although we live in Los Angele I kept thinking how I would be coping as a mom of a teen with significant development disabilities if something similar to the Sandy Super Storm happened here, and kept scrolling thru my Twitter account, trying to keep up with all that was happening 3000 miles away.
