Max and the Disney gang on the cruise

Mickey and Minnie, Max adores without hesitation. But when any of the other Disney characers are around, it takes a while for him to warm up to them.

First, he has to scope them out.

He'll touch them, poke them, prod them, pat them down to make sure they're not carrying any weapons or contraband.

Once he warms up a bit, he likes to check out the nose. Those guys do have some big noses.

Maybe he'll slap their hands or give a high-five.

And then he gets all bold and smart-alecky and starts doing imitations.

Next thing you know, he's cuddling up to them.

Last, a big fat smooch.

I think he's just playing hard to get.

Tomorrow, yet more photos: Sabrinarella, the lost princess.

  6. I'm so glad everyone had a good time on the cruise. And I love the pictures. It's true: whenever kids see Disney characters they will end up kissing them on the nose. I know, I have the pictures to prove it (and so do you!)

  7. I'm so impressed that Max wasn't freaked out by the big characters! I can't wait to see how Gavin handles them someday. He's probably too young to go on a Disney Cruise right now...but it's totally on my bucket list.
Keep the pictures coming! I can't wait to see the little Princess :-)
Did I mention that you were missed?

  9. I love the pictures it looks like you all had so much fun. The characters were Elizabeth's favourite at Disney, she would be shaking by the time the got to her. Being the germaphobe that I am I always wonder do they wash their nose that all the kids kiss?
Don't worry about the hat I need one too, I will not blame it on thinning but everytime I go away I burn my head and end up coming home with what looks like a really gross case of dandruff.
