Brainless Friday

Seriously, that's how I feel today. I stayed up till midnight finishing work and just did a brain-numbing flurry of packing, our plane leaves in a few hours. I guess brainless is not a bad state of mind to be in when you're going on a Disney cruise. :) Happily, the black health cloud hanging over our house seems to have lifted.

Here, for your viewing pleasure, are shots from last year's Disney World trip. I'm guessing the kids will love the cruise just as much, especially since they could have cared less about the rides (well, except for the Go Cart track, which Max went on approximately 47 times). They were all about the characters. Max particularly enjoyed patting them on their butts.

Come visit next week, I have a bunch of great guest posters lined up!

  2. I want to go to DISNEY!!!

Bubba's a real hugger at times--he'd probably want to hug all those characters to death!

You know what? Your pictures have motivated me. We're gonna start a DISNEY fund, I think! My kids love the movies and the characters--it looks like a fun vacation!

Have a wonderful time--I'll miss you when you're gone. If you can post from the ship, give us an update!

  3. Ellen, can you report back to me about how wheelchair accessible Disney cruises are? We've thought about taking one with Clayton but we're leary of the restrictions the chair will place . . . THANKS!

  5. Disney characters + kids = adorable photos. It is unavoidable and fantastic.

My mom has a picture of me, when I was 2, kissing Eeyore on the nose in Disneyland. And another picture of me when I was 17, kissing Eeyore on the nose again. That time around Eeyore didn't have to bend down for me to reach him.

Have great fun on your cruise, everyone that I know whose has gone on them say it is ALL about the kids, they'll have a great time (and the parents have enough amusements too).

  6. We went to Disneyland last month, and it was so much fun!!!! I just LOVE looking at pictures of kids at Disney... it really is magical!

We were looking into the cruise right before we found out we were pregnant with Hannah. She kind of put our plans on hold LOL.

  11. So cute! Can't wait for Charlie's first trip to Disney--I think the characters will feak him out, but he'll be all about the rides. My parents are Disney freaks and have been talking to him about the place since the ICU.

  15. Your kids are adorable. And I can think of few ways of relaxation that are better than a blank, empty mind and quality time with one's kids.
